SHE’S BACK BY: FARRAH MICHAELA RAMOS

Today is the day that I’ve been waiting for! It’s my first day in School of Saint Matthias as a grade 10 student, First things first, as the shine bright, I wake up and clean my bed. Usually I’m getting ready at 6 00 am but since it’s my first day in school I’m getting ready at 5 00 am and preparing myself. As I clean my bed, i get my towel and directly go into the bathroom. While I’m taking a bath. My mother already prepared my uniform and shoes.

This time, I’m done taking a bath so i get my uniform and shoes ready. When I’m walking to the pathway of our house, the smell of fried rice and egg with chicken is already cooked in the kitchen. I need to eat breakfast so I have a lot of energy later. when I’m done eating i brush my teeth and fix my bag because my service is on his way to my house.

*At the school
After 30 minutes, I arrived at the school. My feelings were full of excitement since it was our first day of school. While I roamed around the campus to find my section i messaged my friends and where they are. My friend replied and they said that we’re in the same section at the main building. So I walk as fast as I could because they said they have a surprise for me. 10 minutes later there I already found my room!

I opened the door but I almost collapsed when i saw my childhood best friend! She’s mhelaika my childhood best friend who lives in the Philippines to continue her life in the USA. She left in the Philippines because her grandmother passed away who guarded her since toddler. So her mother decided to bring her in the USA to continue her studies there.

Before i can process my thoughts, she immediately hug me! She said that she transferred here for some reason. After that we are getting to know each other more. And saying how was life in USA. For me this is the best day because it is full of excitement and enjoyment.
